Resolved Question: Dealing with racism, 12, parents not helping much, help?
Would the racist be less hateful? I am twelve, and I live in a small Southern Town near Memphis TN called Millington I was recently assaulted with bats by two kids who claimed that a black man would never lead the country, and that, as an ugly thing in Christ's eyes, I should leave the park. I refused, and they tried to attack me, but I got one of the bats and hit the other person. Their aunts were in the cars cheering them, but when I gained the advantage they drove off and got more people. My friends in the neighborhood, who are in their late teens, I am one of the youngest African Americans in the neighborhood, suggested we leave through the side street that closes at the park. We did, and I ended up seeing the car the aunts were in when riding my bike. The tried to hit me and I move, and they hit the mailbox. The police, and mayor of our town is racist, the only job 90% of the blacks hat work for our city being sanitation, others in fast food and a FEW in education. I told the police, and I was ignored. I Have now developed a 'crush' on one of the girls in my class named Raven. She is white, and When word got out by the only white friend I have, who overheard me talking to some of my other friends, I was attacked again by a white student at our school, cut to the point in which my arm was bleeding all the way down. Whenever we, meaning the African American students, try to fight against the Racist Whites, who call them self the JKKK, we are suspended, expelled, etc. When they JKKK gets us, nothing happens. We can't move, not on the money we have, what do I do? A troll? Wha?

Open Question: How can I teach my African Grey Parrot not to drop seeds that I hand feed to him?
I am trying to teach my african grey parrot to eat the foods that I give to him by hand. But every time I give him like, an almond for example, he takes it from me and rubs his tongue along it, then just drops it. Actually, now he just takes it and drops it without doing anything else. Does anybody have a solution of how I can fix this? (Nothing related to starving him please) thanks for the advice

Resolved Question: Can you feed about a 3 month old African Grey Congo?
On the books and research i have read, it does not mention the exact age it is suppose to be eating the formula. I've realized my Congo only eats the sunflower seeds from his food bowl, and this is not good. I want to search for formula that gives nutrients to the bird. Can I do this at a 3 month age? (Btw it can crack a lot of seeds) Please answer! Let me restate my question, Can you give formula to a 3 month old Grey even if it can crack seeds and everything? (ONLY for nutrients) And if you can feed it formula, what kind? Stage #? Please post details.

Resolved Question: Why do African American's generally not tip? This is NOT BEING RACIST, I want just want answers?
Again, I am in no way, shape or form racist. I was a server for 2 years, and 8 out of 10 times I would either get completely stiffed by blacks or get a very small tip after being ran back and forth ragged, sometimes even breaking a sweat for them. I have done a little researching and I am seeing a lot of this - "well, since you think blacks don't tip well, you don't give them as good as service as whites, so they don't think you deserve it" WRONG! I always gave everyone the same amount of service, no matter what nationality they were, and still got stiffed by them. I'm not saying it is only blacks that stiff, I have gotten stiffed by everyone at times, but by blacks WAY more. I was also a top server in every restaurant I worked, literally, when I put in my notice, they begged me to stay. For the ignorant - Stop with this "get another job if you think you deserve to be tipped" "Restaurants need to pay their employees a real rage so patrons don't have to tip" Do you have any idea how much food prices would go up if they pay their employees a "real" wage and how much worse your service would get? Tipping in this country is part of the price of going out, if you can afford to go out and eat, you can afford to tip. If you can't afford to tip, stay home. Servers remember who tips poorly and if you return, no one will want to wait on you and you WILL get terrible service for whoever gets the "privilege" to , plus there is no telling what would come out of the kitchen to you. Another thing, if you are one of those non tippers, most servers have to actually PAY OUT OF THEIR POCKET to wait on you. Why? Because most servers have to tip out a percentage of their sales to hostesses, bartenders and bussers. So, if you go out and, say your bill is $100 and you decide to stiff your server, the average tip out is around 5%. The server has to PAY $5 to wait on YOU. I won't write anymore, except for another reminder that I AM NOT RACIST, I am stating a stereotypical FACT. I just want answers and what everyone else thinks and has to say. I didn't say all blacks don't tip, I have gotten some great tips from blacks and I have a lot of black friends that tip. It is a fact that a lot of times, they don't tip. Colleges have even done research on it, research it if you don't believe me.

Resolved Question: Will my African Dwarf Frog starve?
My tank has four glo tetras, two fruit tetras and three zebra danios (or however you spell their species) and one African Dwarf Frog. My problem is the frog is very shy, or perhaps afraid, of the other fish. He hides in the plants all day. That's fine. What isn't fine is that at feeding time he watches all the fish go nuts, but whenever he jumps up to get some food one of the fish eats it first. I've tried adding more food once he becomes active and goes for it, but the fish just end up over eating. Is there anything I can do to make the food more accessible to him? Are there any types of bottom feeders that might work or something? I don't want him to starve. If worse comes to worse I'll have to move him to a new tank, but I really don't want ANOTHER tank ... I already have three other small tanks and it's starting to become a chore rather than a hobby. I know they're schooling fish. I refuse to buy more fruit tetra's because they are so cruely dyed... the danio's and glo fish actually school together. I got them from the same tank at the store and they've always hung out together.

Resolved Question: My African gray won't stop screaming?
I have a 5 year old male Congo African Gray. I have had him since he was 5 months old. He loves to talk and play games. He also loves making loud noises. We live in an apartment and I'm worried he's going to get us evicted. He has also caused my 3 year old daughter to suffer from severe migraines. He has 2 different beeps he does that he does as loud as he possibly can before his voice breaks. It makes our eye balls sting. He has tons of toys interactive and chew. I give him lots of different varieties of food. He is in the living room with us and is usually on the back of the computer cage where either me or my husband usually is. When we go out of the room we play a game of peek a boo which he loves. I go in another room to fold laundrey or whatever and he says in a sing song voice "wheres Mommy" I say "here I am" popping my head out of the door. The screaming has recently been even when we are in the room with him. I give him wads of paper to tear up. He just makes these noises over and over again. We even tried walking out of the room wherever he makes the sound. My husband, daughter, and I will stand up without saying a word or looking at him and walk out of the room until he quiets. Now He does it just to see us get up and down. Please help. He is like my child I don't want to have to decide between going homeless and keeping him. Oh, I have also tried a squirt bottle and it just makes him excited. He starts making water droplet sounds and screeching for more. We try covering him up and he is entertained for a small amount of time while he shreds the cover until there are holes big enough to see through. Once he had that full of hole we started putting him on the curtain rod in the bathroom with the door closed. I thought if he was in the dark he would go to sleep, but instead he talks happily to himself until he gets bored and then starts that high pitched beep again. We let his wings grow out so he can fly around the house freely. I don't know if that makes a difference or not. Sorry about all the grammar issues. he's doing it right now and I can hardly think. oops. I didn't mean sit on back of computer cage. That is suppose to be computer chair. He is very seldom in his cage so we don't put a lot of toys in his cage. Fewer toys in his cage is also safer for his unclipped wings. We circulates the toys a couple times a week keeping the unused one on top of his play top cage. My husband and I both take him to the shower with us for a little stema bath. It's really cold here right now. He loves turning his water bowl into a bird bath also. I hate to clip his wings but perhaps I'll try that.

Open Question: Restaurant With a Little Bit of Everything?
Ok so I want to open a restaurant after I get out of culinary school. I love all kinds of food and I think people should have choices because everyone loves different types of foods (i.e. Chinese, Italian, American, African, Swedish...) and I was thinking I could start a restaurant that has a little bit of everything instead of a base restaurant. Do you think that's a good idea or is it too much work? No, not a buffet. Just a regular off the menu restaurant. Wow, I never thought about all that. Thanks so much. I'm gonna take that into HUGE consideration!

Open Question: Is this a suitable cage for an African Grey?
I am expecting my new African Grey in about four weeks, and getting everything together ahead of time. I need advice and opinions on an indoor cage. This indoor cage will be for more of a sleep time cage, or me going out. So, my intentions are not to get a huge cage. The cage I have for it to just hang out in when i'm home looks like this, may be even a bit bigger http://www.birdscomfort.com/cockatoos_bird_cage.html This cage is outside. For an inside cage, these are what i'm considering. http://birdcages4less.com/page/B/PROD/Medium_Bird_Cages/PA5759 http://www.bird.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=502906+WHT Give any opinions or suggestions? Also, suggest any toys, food, or grooming items your bird prefers. Thank you for your time. I go to school part time, and work part time, but I am home more then I am away. Relatives will also be home when i'm not, so the time the bird spends in the small cages will be at night time, and when i'm sitting in my room with it. Perches and bird jungle gyms will also be around the house. Thanks for the advice so far =D

Open Question: Know any unique themes for a activity week at a university?
every year various organization have their own "week" meaning they plan various activities and events the entire week. Sunday probably church and saturday or friday a party. each week has a theme to go with it usually the theme can be broken down to various parts for the 7 days of the week. for example. if one was to do say a Harry Potter theme. Monday a sexual awareness forum or seminar might be called "protecting your wand" or love potion number 9. Thursday a food festival might be called "a dinner at hogwarts" or "a taste of the magical world." Its hard coming up with a cool theme that college students ex specially African American freshmen wont find lame and is unique that rarely one would think of. Please Give me your ideas.

Resolved Question: Why do most people who give donation/education/help to Africa are mostly non-Africans?

Open Question: Why do Africans think Black americans "have no culture"?
Why do Africans think Black americans "have no culture"? Just because we dont have the exact same culture as them, and other people from West Africa? Black americans ancestors were stripped of their original culture,so they had to create a new one, fusing elements of western culture, with the little african culture they preserved....just like afro latinos around Latin america... the fusion gave birth to genres like blues, gospel, rock n roll,r&b,hiphop, etc Black americans still eat foods from west africa, like yams(soul food),okra(gumbo),etc etc Majority of americandances, like the charleston, cake walk, lindy hop,the jive, etc all came frome arly black american communities So why do they say we dont have any culture? To say that, would mean that all blacks int he western hemisphere, would have "no culture" Mat hispanics dont know their original languages either, hmm they must not have culture then And no,those music genres arent "borrowing sfrom whites",are you stupid?Read a music history book or something. If anything,WHITES are "borrowing" those music genres from US

Resolved Question: IS adopting a culture posing?
I am an African American but I absolutely love Italian Culture: the food the language, the dress, the opera everything. Does that make me a poser

Remember my question yesterday about my frog shedding? well now I think he may be dying! He shed yesterday, and when I woke up this morning, he was laying on his back on the bottom of the tank, and the other fish could move him around as they swam past. I immidiatly thought he was dead, but when I touched him with the net, he moved his little arms! At first i thought it was just the water, so i tried to scoop him up, but he swan away into the corner. He settled down, but now he is upside down again and lokks dead. Is he? Will he die? what could have caused this? P.s. I keep him in a ten gallon tank with five mollies. I was told they were compatible. also, I feed him the Frog and tadpole food I was told to buy from the pestore. Please help! Thanks, I've tried this question at the fish section too! why isn't anyone answering!

Voting Question: I need help with my african Dwarf Frog?
You see, at the petstore when i bought the frog the guy told me that he would be able to eat the same tropical fish food that I fed to my other fish. When I put the food in though, he won't eat it, let alone be interested in it. In fact, I'm not even sure if he knows it's up there.... Is there something else I should be feeding him? I really don't want to have to deal with frozen food it it's an option... or anything living.

Open Question: My mollies eating the frog food?
I have a ten gallon tank with 5 mollies and an african dwarf frog. The frog was a later addition, and since I got him, my mollies have been trying to eat the pellet food I give him. Resolved Question: Do Jews want people to think that the holocaust was the worst thing to happen in the history of mankind?
In a previous question, I compared what the blacks endured during the slave era to the holocaust of WW2. The responses I got from people who I assume were Jewish were quite passionate and denounced me for comparing African slavery to the holocaust. I’m not sure if these people are aware of how slaves were treated back then. Here’s a quick rundown; first stage, villages were invaded by armed soldiers and people were stolen from their homes. Women and girls were raped and the men beaten. They were then chained up and marched to the west coast of Africa, called the fever coast because of the endemic Yellow fever, malaria and the cholera in the water. They were kept in holding pens and given only enough food and water to survive. They were then loaded onto small fast sailing ships and brigs, crammed into the cargo hold like sardines, chained up so they wouldn’t rise up and overpower the small crew. Many more slaves were crammed in than was quite right because the ship’s crew knew that about a third of them would die during the long voyage through tropical heat. Then on arrival they were whipped and beaten if they spoke in their own language or practiced their traditions. If they tried to escape, they had their hamstrings cut. It was a very dark chapter in human history. I’m not saying the holocaust was a picnic or anything like that; I’m just quite annoyed that Jewish people would so casually dismiss the African slave era and then make out that the holocaust was by far the worst thing that any humans have ever done to other humans. But am I mistaken; do Jewish people really do this?

Resolved Question: Has anyone had or noticed this problem?
The more I think about this, the more I become puzzled. It's beginning to stress me out. Okay, here's the deal: I work with teen girls over the summer in a Summit that talks about various issues that the girls may and have experienced. Now, the girls are usually very friendly, but more and more, I am starting to see cliques. The tall, chubbier girls always drift by in a group of girls like themselves, talking about different foods, sports, and fashions. For some reason, all of my Black teens do this. I am african-american too, so this is why I have been confused at this behaviour. Now, the tall and short, much thinner girls all talk about boys, shopping, and weight, as if they are obsessed with it. In fact, this past summer, I heard several girls say they would kill themselves if they ever got 'big.' A heavy girl looked at them and rolled her eyes. Yet, I don't think that the thinner girl was talking about her. Now, with the summit, we encourage the girls to get together and talk and highlight some social issues. We discuss everything!!! But, at the end, the girls go back to their racial groups as usual, and ignore each other, as if speaking to one another would be illegal. I don't get it!! Can someone please explain to me or give me some tips? Preferably someone who has teenage daughters!!. Thank you

Voting Question: Cannibal African Parrots (Lovebirds) help please?
I checked on my lovebirds one day and I found a horrifying sight of a bird bloody and dead as if it were butchered. The beak was destroyed, the wing almost fell of, and the poor dead bird's wing was impaled on a metal bar that was sticking out of the swing... And I saw the other birds were just silent and even trying to eat the bird. it was horrifying and disgusting, I took the dead bird immediately. I don't know what went wrong... I had a big cage (Really big like a dog's cage) and around 11 birds live in it. I had 2 houses (with nests) built for 2 pairs (meaning only 4 birds so this means that only 4 birds are able to go inside the nest).. and they had enough food anyway... What could be the reason behind this? Territory? Space?

Resolved Question: is an african grey right for me? other bird suggestions?
im 13 and i have a bird, 4 ferrets and a dog. i LOVE birds. i dont have that many friends at school and most of the time im just at home with no contact with anybody. im, in one word, lonely. i am great with birds and i know how to take care of them. our bird right now, a green cheek conure, answers to his name and knows how to do a couple tricks. he also hates everybody EXCEPT for me. i would like another bird as it wouldnt be that much harder to keep another cage clean and make sure the water is there as well as the food. i really like african greys and i want a bird that can talk its heart out. i go to school from 9:00am to 3:30pm, and so i cant be with the bird during those times. on some days i also have marching band in the evening and im ony home about 2 hours after school and then im back again when its late. i love to spend time with my pets as im bored ALOT and the bird would get alot of attention as i would be determined to teach it to talk. i would be able to buy a large cage and toys and food for it as well as the bird itself, with help from my parent. is an african grey right for me? or is there any other birds that can talk that would be good for me? im 14 in january as well, and i have a parent that helps with the animals. so its not just me, and i can ask for stuff towards a bird for my birthday as well. african greys live about 60 years and im ready for a lifelong friend i would take care of it and take it with me when i move out. same story as my green cheeks which lives 25 years and so thats 20 more years with him, and i love him to death. if i ever divorce id rather have my pets than the house.

Resolved Question: help? i know everyone asks this, but i need help so so bad!?
ok. i know everyone asks this, but HOW CAN I MAKE MY DAD SAY YES TO GETTING A PUPPY? ok. i even have it planned out. the puppy i want is a yorkie. he is litter trained! i don't think my dad knows this though... i have 2 dogs, 2 bunnies, and a cat. he gets along with the cat and the cat will get along with him. the dogs won't get along with the puppy though:( BUT. i already have this planned. i can pay for the pup. here are the emails the lady and i have been sending: me: hi! i just wanted some information on your free yorkie on www.puppiessale.com thanks! her: Hello, Thanks for your interest in this my beautiful Yorkshire terrier puppy. He is a pure breed Yorkshire terrier. The puppy is the tea cup yorkie."Lincoln" is his name and he is a male puppy. He is 16 weeks old and pure breed. He weighs 1.7pounds and as full grown will weigh 4.2pounds.current he is on all his vaccine and shots.he has gone through a month of socialization classes before leaving the facility. These classes consist of name acknowledgment, puppy pad and doggies litter box training, leash training, etc.more over he is on a NuVet Plus Vitamins which helps build healthy immune systems. He is AKC registered and little did i know that i had to obtain a stamp from an AKC registrar before traveling internationally with the puppy since we had to pay a visit to my husband who is working with the World Health Organization (WHO). They are currently working on a 3 year health program for the fight against Mother to child transmission of HIV and AIDS.They are currently working in Cameroon found in Central Islands of Africa, and in less than 6 weeks from now, they shall be traveling to another African country (Ivory Coast) to continue their health activities. So due to the lack of that stamp which i did not procure from AKC registrar we have thus been held hostage at the Bali International Airport in our attempt to spend our holiday with my husband in Cameroon by the custom officials because of the lack of the stamp from the Kennel registrar. I have been told that the puppy cant enter Cameroon unless i present the AKC stamp from the American Kennel Club Registrar. It thus mean that if i have to do all this,i will have to go back to the USA and that will mean a lot of money. So i have been given 2 options either to repatriate the puppy back to USA,OR he will be qurantined here in Cameroon.it sounds so disturbing hearing that our much cherished baby await to be quarantined. I have thus advertised him so that anybody who will be able to pay the repatriation cost should pay and own this my lil angel.if you are ready for that,i will thus need to know your detailed address, phone number and the nearest international airport to you.below are some pictures of my lil angel I await your reply soon. me: that's such a cute name!!!! and a cute puppy! do you know how much a repatriation cost is? thanks! her: hello thanks for getting back to me in regard of the puppy.the repatriation fee is $95 to have him send back to the US i think this is fair since i can pay for it. even the food. my mom and brother REALLY want it. and my dad just keeps saying no! i don't know why!!!!!!!!!! please tell me what to do!!!!!!!!!!! help? i have seen the dog! there are pics!

Voting Question: Pooping in semi-public?
My friend (african american) has been celebrating kwanzaa this year and he is really taking it quite seriously. He has been learning swahili, eating their food, taking on their customs and clothes, and so on. Today we were hiking and all of a sudden he just -upped his dress, squatted, and took a dump on the side of a trail! I asked him and he said that this is what his ancestors would have done! He didn't even wipe! Nobody but me saw him, but he just left his load right on the side of the path? Is this normal for africans?

Resolved Question: Why is "liberal" an insult, but "conservative" praise?
Liberals/progressives gave us Social Security, an end to child labor, the national park system, environmental protections, the Pure Food and Drug Act, suffrage for women, and civil rights for African Americans. Liberals support rights for gays, immigrants, and a diverse array of groups. Conservatives, regardless of the party they occupied at the time, opposed all of the above movements, and often with remarkable ferocity. So why do modern leftist politicians run like scared children away from the label of "liberal", while right-wing Christian fundamentalists use the label of "conservative" as a positive label? To me, there are few things in life worse than being a "social conservative" politically.

Resolved Question: What Birds Can Teach Us?
"OBSERVE intently the birds of heaven, because they do not sow seed or reap or gather into storehouses; still your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth more than they are?" (Matthew 6:26) Jesus Christ said these words in a famous sermon given on a mountainside near the Sea of Galilee. His audience was not limited to his followers. A great crowd of potential disciples from all parts of the land were present. Many of them were poor people who had brought the sick for Jesus to cure.—Matthew 4:23–5:2; Luke 6:17-20. Having cured all the ailing ones, Jesus gave attention to the more important spiritual needs. Among the lessons he taught was the one mentioned above. The birds of heaven have been in existence for a long time. Some of them feed on insects, others on fruit and seeds. If God has made available such abundant provisions for the birds, surely he is capable of helping his human servants to obtain their daily bread. He may do this by helping them to find employment so as to earn money for food. Or he may grant them success in growing their own food. As for times of emergency, God can move the hearts of kind neighbors and friends to share with needy ones what food they have. There is much more that we can learn by carefully observing bird life. God has created birds with marvelous instincts to make nests in which they can raise their offspring. Notice two different kinds of nests. Pictured on the left is the nest of an African rock martin. It is built on the face of a rock or on the wall of a house. The roof of such nests is an overhanging rock or, as shown in this picture, the eaves of a building. The floor of the nest is made of tiny mud pellets stuck together in the shape of a cup. Both male and female work hard to collect mud pellets and may take over a month to complete their nest. Then they line it with grass and feathers. Both share in feeding their young. What appears below is the nest of a male masked weaver. This industrious African bird builds its nest using blades of grass or strips of other vegetation. It can complete a nest in one day and may weave more than 30 in one season! The lesson? If God provides birds with such skills and abundant materials to make nests, surely he can help his human servants to get needed housing. However, Jesus showed that something else is necessary if we want Jehovah God to help us obtain our material necessities. "Keep on, then, seeking first the kingdom and his righteousness, and all these other things will be added to you," Jesus promised. (Matthew 6:33) You may wonder, 'What is involved in seeking God's Kingdom first?' Jehovah's Witnesses, who distribute this magazine, would be happy to answer that question.

I have never seen a woman die for a man that she wasn't related to. http://www.ifeminists.net/introduction/e... Yup. Discrimination on ships. I bet women still survive at higher rates than men. As soon as a female POW is in trouble the whole world comes running in yet nine men were allowed to be shot. Yet when a woman dies its a big deal. And newspapers make a bigger deal out of one woman dying compared to numerous men. I have never seen a woman work long hours to support a man or family. Nor have I ever seen a woman take care of a sick or dying spouse. And how unfair is it that women get to retire earlier and don't have to sign up for the draft. Lets not even go into why women live longer. Or why men commit suicide more often than women. Or why the majority of the homeless are men. Or why divorce courts favor women. Or why women receive less punishment than men for anything. Or why 70% of husbands make more money than wives yet women do 80% of the spending. Or why And in exchange for all this women punish men. Women are allowed to hit cheating men, and men who make unwanted sexual advances. I am sure the same does not apply to men whose honor has been compromised. I have never heard of a woman attack another woman for hitting a man. Society is pretty messed up if men protect women and women abuse men. I'm generalizing here. I am sure there are numerous examples of good women. I do know families where the woman works and the man is retired. and women do die to save men both in the military. I know there are heroic women. Here is one who protected her male soldiers http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=4... And a woman who died to protect her husband http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/artic... And a woman who poured her heart and soul into rescuing her husband http://www.lhj.com/relationships/can-thi... And women who even save their husbands and fathers by beating out flames with their bare hands http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-... http://query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.ht... And women do take care of their parents. And form charities to help men. And women give more organs than men and men receive more organs than women. And I know women give more blood marrow and blood. And I have heard of women in African countries torn apart by war travel long distances to get food for their husbands and children. But in general a woman is cared for MORE and is the one who is considered to be precious and valuable and is coddled and taken care of more. Men are the nurturers of the family. Men are the ones that keep everyone together. Women expect men to do all the asking out. I'm not saying women should be facing all the rejection but what's wrong with meeting a man half way. Women are hardly the nurturing caring one's either. A man is always a woman's emotional rock. A WOMAN IS NEVER THE ONE WHO IS LESS EMOTIONAL AND HIS ROCK. SHE IS NEVER HIS NURTURER AND EMOTIONAL PROTECTOR. NO MATTER HOW FAR INTO THE RELATIONSHIP HE TAKES MORE RISKS. A woman is allowed to cry at physical pain. Women give less sympathy when partners are sick Nor have I ever seen a woman do the protective things men do for wives, and even friends such as giving up seats(and standing uncomfortably on buses for hours), getting the car in the rain, giving up jackets, carrying heavy objects, walking home, driving her home, calling a cab to take her home safely, carrying her when she falls down , calling to make sure she got home safely, holding doors, paying, walking street side and positioning himself in between her and any vicious dog or threat. Even in relationships a man gives more massages, gives up his jacket, gets the car when its raining, gives up shoes if hers breaks, gives up food, gives up the safer car, gives up the health insurance, checks on the noise downstairs, drive in unsafe conditions, gives up his umbrella, gives up his seat, has security systems installed for her, walks her home, drives her home, calls her a cab, gives more in general, calls to make sure she got home safe, comes over in the middle of night to take care of her, does more to cheer her up, carries her heavy packages, picks her up form the bus station at night, saves her and her car from a ditch, makes her feel safe, carries her when she falls down. He is more likely to step in between her and vicious dog or take a bullet for her than vice versa. He gets a vasectomy so she can avoid a tubal( vasectomies are safer the tubals but a vasectomy carries the risk of YEARS of discomfort and pain(what type of woman would let a man risk that)-one guy said even if it was more unsafe he would still take the pain for his wife-no woman thinks like that).

Resolved Question: Why are blacks and latinos friends and whites and asians?
it might be because blacks and latinos make the same amount of income so live in the same area?are influenced through african culture one ways or another(music, food)? and whites and asians...yeah.like in asia they play hip-hop and stuff but it's mostly pop-ish type stuff.not saying hip-hop isn't for whites but most would prefer rock/pop over hip-hip/r&b....... got this question from the movie bring it on. mostly whites a few asians at one high school mostly blacks a few latinos at the other and this is true Jesus people.i'm not saying that people judge who to be friends with based on race.i know not to base things off movies and i just noticed this and was like, okay that's true.i'm just wondering why?merry christmas all my east coast peeps!!!!!!!!btw i had white friends b4/but now i moved so only latino and black.i never had an asian friend though.unless you count a half-turkish cousin asian.maybe...

Resolved Question: Tips for my new Cockatiel?
So, I just got a Cockatiel today ! I work with a woman who owns two Cockatoos and an African Grey, and she helped my mom buy me this Cockatiel (I'm fifteen, by the way, and Piper [my Cockatiel] is a Christmas gift). She's two years old, from a rescue, and just as sweet as can be ! I know not to give her chocolate, and that birds can't sense heat in food, so I can't give her anything hot (temperature wise), or she might burn herself. I have tons of toys in her cage, and she's set to go for tonight.. I have her in an area where she can get lots of sunlight in the morning (I am going to make a little cardboard hide-out so she can get into the shade if she gets too hot), and is in an area with medium traffic. She's in the room where I normally spend most of my time (den), and I will have her out whenever I'm doing homework (99% of the time). Anyhow, what I want to know is.. 1. What are some other things I should avoid giving her ? 2. I want to shower with her eventually; how long should I wait until she feels comfortable enough in her environment that this is okay ? 3. Piper "twitters" sometimes, and can squawk.. can female Cockatiels do anything other than that ? 4. Any other suggestions/tips on how to make Piper as happy as possible ? Everything is appreciated. Thank you ! Also, how often should I "mist" her with a spray bottle ? I know Cockatiels have a powder they give off when healthy, and I don't want to over-spray her, if that's possible.
