News and Questions About 3 day diet
Open Question: What diets should I try?
Right now I don't eat anything at all, and after a few days I eat a drop of toothpaste to keep from fainting.
Other diets I have tried were eating only celery and cabbage, only drinking green tea, and also eating just 3 cubes of cheese a day.
None of these seem to be working. Right now I am at 3% body fat, but I want to get to 0-1% to be thin enough.
What should I try?
Open Question: Fat loss, belly problem, any help?

SO im saying is someparts of my body are really horrificly fat, and others are muscly and i want to get rid of the problem. Tell me excercises, and foods that will help me. My stomach is the issue mostly....
Open Question: How Long Should I Work Out if I Have Never Worked Out Before?
I am looking to join Gold's Gym and I was wondering how long should I start out with working out because I do not want to strain myself. I weigh about 310 and I am in pretty good health (not that well because I am rather large) but I am not in any serious health risks except for the weight. I want to start going on Monday maybe 3 times a week before work simply because I have had enough of this weight and know I can do better than this. How long should I work out? I am thinking of starting at 30 minutes a day or maybe 45. I was also wondering what type of diet should I begin? I know, realistically, one cannot have eating habits from hades and then start eating carrots and all is well. I am looking to do a lifestyle change, not really diet, so what are some ways that I can ease into a better eating lifestyle as well?
Open Question: How was my diet??? Please answer!?
Ok, so, lately I have been hungry all the time. I feel like I am gaining weight, but I really am not. My weight varies between 112-114. I'm 5'3'', and I'm 13.
This is my workout:
-1 hour of swimming laps (freestyle)
-30-50 minutes of cardio (biking/elliptical) today I did 40 on the elliptical
-Plus I do strength training for about 30 minutes
And So days I get 30 min up to 2 hours of racquetball in, but today I didn't.
So, with that amount of exercise, am I eat right?
B: Bowl of special k blueberry cereal
S: Granola bar
L: PB and J sandwich on 99% fat free, low carb bread (my brother's a diabetic ;-/ ), cole slaw, and cantaloupe
D: Qdoba's grilled chicken quesidilla
S: 2 granola bars (I feel guilty)
So, am I eating too much, I want to get in shape!

Open Question: Is 30 minutes of lifting weights enough?
I lift every other day; sometimes I take a 2 day break. I also follow a diet that is high on protein. Is 30 minutes of lifting weights enough?
Here's my routine:
Bench press - 6-7 sets of 10
Close something grip to work triceps - 3-4 sets of 10
Bicep curls - 5 sets of 10
Crunches - 100 of them
Hammer curls - whatever amount I can do
Is this okay? I get it all done in 30 minutes. Should I work out longer?
I have been working out for 3 weeks now and haven't noticed any difference on my chest. My biceps do look bigger though. Any advice?

I also do not eat meat (except chicken). What are healthy options to choose from while i am dinning out?! thanks in advance!!! :]
Open Question: Is it alright to only drink water for 3 to 5 days?
Im not going on a crash diet or anything but could I do it just to clean out my system? If you think its bad for me can you give me something else I could do to naturally cleanse my system?
Open Question: can i get some help with my cutting diet?

i drink 80 to 100 ounces of water a day no sugar drinks
i feel im not eating enough calories and on top of that i feel i need more protein i also weight lift 5 times a week any help would be great(like other foods to eat while cutting, but maintaining muscle) and how long till you think i could see some resultys?
Open Question: Is this weight loss plan safe?
For my height, I'm aware that I'm very over-weight and I would like to lose 10-12 stone in the next year or so. I was considering on going on a low calorie diet which consist of possibly cereal for breakfast, maybe a jacket potato for lunch, and either a soup or salad for dinner and snacking on fruit and veg.I am hoping to consume about 1000-1500 calories a day. With this I'll also do 20-30 minutes of exercise 3 times a day. I'm wary that this diet could cause possible health problems, but being my weight now it is definite that I will gain health problems in the near future if I don't do something now.
I would like some opinions on this weight loss plan preferably from people who have lost large amounts of weight through dieting, not surgery.
Open Question: will this help me lose weight?...is it healthy to eat only this?
I am 21 years old and weigh 160 lbs. My height is 5'3. I'm tryna lose the belly fat after having my baby 4 months ago.
I just started on this diet. I have been walking everyday for 2 weeks now. This week I included leg exercises and running. This week I have only been eating salad...Romain lettuce with tomatos, carrots and a little bit of ranch dressing. As a snack I had caqrrot sticks with a little bit of ranch dressing. I don't really know which foods you can't eat while on a diet that's why I just eat salad all day long and water only. Is this okay? Should I add something elso to eat? Will this diet help me lose weight fast?
Open Question: Today I feel really depressed because I didn't follow my diet. How do I stop thinking about my diet?
I'm 5'3 108lbs. I an on a strict diet. I didn't follow the diet today. I ate a lot of ice cream and popcorn. I also didn't exercise today. I feel REALLY depressed because my weight is everything to me. I weigh myself 6-8 times a day. I think about my weight 24/7. I wish I could stop thinking about my diet and my weight because I am becoming really obsessed about my weight. I just want to be really thin because I think being thin will make me happy and give me confidence. I want to weigh about 100lbs. I envy really skinny people and I want to be one of those people. I also look on pro ana sites. I am so obsessed about my weight. How can I stop this because it is messing up my life?
Open Question: Answer if you "think" you know about fitness and being healthy?
A little over a month ago, I weighed 256 lbs. I hit the weights for a week, and then for the last 3 or 4 weeks I have done 45 minutes on the elliptical a day, and rotated a push up, sit up workout throughout the week. I eat a high protein diet, lots of chicken, fish, veggies, and protein shakes. I seem to have hit a plateau. I weigh 235 now, and don't seem to be loosing or gaining any weight, and I still look fat. What can I do to continue to shred the fat?
Open Question: Do most people drink more then the recommended amount of water (fluids) per day?
i was figuring out how much fluids i drink and its way more then the recommended which is 64oz. In a 8 hr period (at work) i drink about 200 oz of water and sometimes 1-2 diet pepsi (24oz) which is 98% water. At home for the rest of the day for sure i will drink 3 to 5 16oz water bottles and other fluids juice, milk. So in one day i drink about 300 oz of fluid give or take. Do most people drink more then the 64oz? That's kinda low isn't it? Your thoughts?
i only drink one soda 2 at most per day. Dehydration is only one of the bad effect of soda, onother bad one that is it eats away at your bones(robs your body of calcium)
Open Question: working on the cutting help?
so i just started the cutting process at the beginning of this week so far and ive ran everyday so far and golfed every day on top of the running and i carry my clubs i took the BMR calculator and it says i should be eating 1800 calories a day to maintain muscle but lose fat i have my diet set out this is it:

Open Question: How can I correct my workout?
I have been lifting wieghts since I was 14. Until fall of 2008 I had not started the proper weight gain diet, and therefore had not gained much size. I am 6’2” and was 178 pounds. Do to some issues in my life I have just lost some 20 pounds. I am currently 165 pound (I have gained back 5 pounds so far). My current body fat is 5.1%. I am in my prime and not developing enough. I am becoming slightly discouraged. I have read many articles, magazines, and had multiple personal trainers. I work out very hard, and usually work out harder than many people who develop faster than me. I understand that I may have a different body type, and my genetics may be somewhat in the way but I am looking to gain muscle weight nonetheless. Due to my schedule I can only eat four meals a day. I never eat fast food, and eat very healthy. I have gained muscle and size considerably compared to what I was previously; however, although I may push myself harder than those I work out with the results I have been getting are considerably less than that of what they are getting. I am gaining strength fine, and I have no problem keeping up with someone larger than me in muscle size; yet, the muscle size and definition is lacking. At a 5.1% body fat I should be considerably more cut. I am asking for any advice as to what I could do to improve and speed up my muscle growth. I have truly tried many different things, but I am always looking for more suggestions.
This is my current supplement intake:
Morning: High calorie and carbohydrate protein shake taken with 2% milk with 3-5mg creatine monohydrate.
Pre-workout: 1000g L-Arginine, 3 pills Nitrix, 1 scoop N.O. Explode (I restrict my caffeine intake).
Post-workout: 3-4 scoops cytogainer with 2% milk, 3-5mg creatine monohydrate.
Before bed: 1 scoop gold standard Casein with 2%.
I exercise and lift weights 5-6 times a week. I work my muscles out in parts -- Chest and Triceps, Back and Biceps, Shoulders and abs, Legs.
Open Question: If i crash diet with a day off...?
I am aware that crash dieting is dangerous.i am also aware that many diets have a system in which u diet for 6 days then on the seventh day overeat to "reset the cycle" and keep the metabolism at the same rate.but i if i do this while doing a fairly low calorie diet (not extremely unhealthy) losing 2-4 pounds every 6 days with exercise every day..will i destroy my metabolism?also would it be more effective if i dieted for 11 days and took 3 days off?

Ten reasons why breastfeeding is best
1. Increases Baby's IQ
Breastfeeding has been shown to increase your baby's intelligence quotient (IQ). The average increase is about 7 points. While it might not be the difference for acceptance to Harvard, we all need every point we can get!
2. Helps mom lose that baby fat.
There are certain fat stores that go on your body during pregnancy that are destined to be for breastfeeding. Breastfeeding helps tap into those stores and reduce the fat deposits laid down in pregnancy.3. Breastfed babies are less likely to die of SIDS.
About 7,000 US babies die every year from SIDS. While we don't know what causes SIDS, we do know what the risk factors are, that includes using formula to feed your baby. Breastmilk is one of the few factors that you can control. 4. Reduced allergies for breastfed babies.
Breastfeeding your baby causes baby to have fewer allergies. There are lots of reasons why this happens, but remember - Mother's milk is specific for each and every child. It changes throughout the day and throughout the span that you nurse.5. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that you breastfeed.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends that your baby begin breastfeeding within the first hour of life and that they only receive breastmilk until they are older. It's also recommended by the American Dietetic Association (ADA), the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF.
More Info6. Breastfeeding burns calories!
Breastfeeding requires about 500 calories a day to simply produce the milk. You can use those extra 500 calories to add more food to your diet or to help you lose weight after the birth.7. Formula increases the risk of diabetes (type I).
Infants who are exposed to formula, particularly early on have a greater likelihood to develope Type I diabetes. Infants who were expressly breastfed for at least 5 months with no formula had lower rates of Type I diabetes. The longer they were breastfed, the lower the risk.8. Postbirth benefits are also many.
By breastfeeding your body releasess a hormone that helps your uterus contract, oxytocin. This can reduce your risk of postpartum hemorrhage or the need for other medications. Nursing also helps your uterus heal after birth and get back to its pre-pregnancy size.9. Cancers decrease with breastfeeding too.
Your risk of developing breast cancer and other cancers is increased if you do not breast feed. Breastfeeding can help lower the incidence of breast cancer, ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, etc.10. Breastfeeding lowers the risk of obesity.
Not only will breastfeeding make your child more lean and healthy, it will help reduce days missed at work for illnesses, etc. Because nursing lowers the risk that your child will suffer from upper respiratory infections, ear infections, etc.
Here are ten more reasons why breastfeeding is bestfor the environment:
1. Producing artificial baby milk contributes to inefficient use of land, deforestation, and soil erosion. Each grazing cow that produces milk used in artificial baby milk needs about 10,000 square meters of land.9 Wooded land is cleared for pasture, leading to deforestation as well as depletion and erosion of the soil. Land used to grow cattle feed in Third World countries is often land that was formerly used for family food production or was forested. Brazilian forests, for example, are cleared and burned to make way for soya plantations. Soya is used to feed cattle and as a base for some artificial baby milk. Growing soya also requires a high amount of fertilizers and irrigation.
People in non-industrialized countries often use wood as fuel to heat artificial milk; each bottle-fed baby requires a minimum of 73 kilos of valuable wood each year.10 One study determined that producing one kilogram of formula in Mexico costs 12.5 square meters of rain forest.11 Gabrielle Palmer, a nutritionist and breastfeeding counselor, states: "Human milk is a commodity which is ignored in national inventories and disregarded in food consumption surveys, yet it does actually save a country millions of dollars in imports and health costs. The Mozambican Ministry of Health calculated in 1982 that if there were a mere twenty percent rise in bottle-feeding, in just two years this would cost the country (the equivalent of) 10 million US dollars, and this did not include fuel, distribution, or health costs. They also calculated the fuel required for boiling the water would use the entire resources from one of the major forestry projects."12

2. The manufacturing of the packaging of artificial baby milk creates toxins and uses paper, plastic, and tin. For every 3 million bottle-
Open Question: Question for any personal trainers out there?
A little over a month ago, I weighed 256 lbs. I hit the weights for a week, and then for the last 3 or 4 weeks I have done 45 minutes on the elliptical a day, and rotated a push up, sit up workout throughout the week. I eat a high protein diet, lots of chicken, fish, veggies, and protein shakes. I seem to have hit a plateau. I weigh 235 now, and don't seem to be loosing or gaining any weight, and I still look fat. What can I do to continue to shred the fat?
oh ya, I'm 21, 6 ft tall, and pretty muscular with a gut, mushy lower pecs, and a double chin. It sucks. I drink lots of coffee black...how do I overcome this plateau I'm at?
Open Question: Will My Diet & Exercise Plan Help Me Lose 10 lbs in 2 Months?
Starting this following week I'm going to crack down on my fitness plan. I'm 5'2'' and 146 lbs, and I want to get down to 136 lbs by August. Ultimately, I'd like to be 130 lbs. I'm 14.
Monday: 1 hr strength training & some cardio w/ personal trainer
Tuesday: Swim as many laps as I can (we have a 20x40 ft pool)
Wednesday: 1 hr strength training & some cardio w/ personal trainer
Thursday: Walk on treadmill- 8% incline, 3.5 mph for 30 min.
Friday: Swim as many laps as I can
Saturday: Walk on treadmill- 8% incline, 3.5 mph for 30 min.
I have a healthy diet, too, with only one day during the week where I order whatever I want for dinner. When I go out to eat, I order grilled chicken, salads, non-creamy soups, sandwiches, etc. I only drink water and diet soda and I really don't snack at all... I probably need to kick up my food intake. Advice or tips? Thanks.
I'm not giving up diet soda. Period. I drink mostly water anyway. And I'm not stopping eating cereal, bread, pasta, etc. I won't do that. Period. End of story. I'm watching my calories and everything and that's enough.
Open Question: bmr and metabolism question...?

Open Question: What is happening to me and my life?
Basically, my life is sh*t at the moment and i really need my advice on a few aspects of it.
Basics -
Basically im a 14 year old girl, year 9. I go to school and my parents are divorced. I see my dad every other weekend, and he has a girlfriend. I have 1 sister aged 12. Im quite a bubbly person and i like to be around people.
Ok here are my problems in life -
Money -
My mum gives me £15 a month and i have to buy everything with that, shampoo, clothes. My dad also gives me £15 wich i use to get all my clothes et. I have a paper round,. and a cleaning job. Sometimes it really bugs me that i have to buy everything myself, and i get NO OTHER MONEY. Under no curcumstances. AND i have to do jobs around the house to get that money. I guess i cant complain, its just all my friends get like £50 and month for doing nothing, and im no jelous it just annoys me smetimes.
Friendship -
There used to be a 6 of us
Eleanor
Holly
Ali
Amy
Katherine
and me
I am supposedley best friends with Eleanor, but lateley she has acted really different to everyone. Its been going on for about a year. She gets on at us and is really opinitaive and always putting me and my friends down.
Holly has always been best friend with Harriet (whos not part of our lil 6) and she has now left our 6 so its a 5.
Amy and Ali have always been really good friends, andthey live near each other etc.
Recentley Amy has had a MAJOR operation so shes not at school anymore until next school year.
So its just Eleanor, me, Katherine and Ali. Then the other day, Eleanor rand at 7:30 and asked if she could come round to my house, that second. I want really up and ready yet so i said maybe could she not. Then i got to school and she hasnt spoken to me since. This was 3 weeks ago tomorow.
And now shes latched on to Holly and Harriet and is acting as tho she never knew me and as if i dont exist. Its really bugging me. AND i dont see why i should say sorry, for absoulutely NOTHING. i dont want to give her the pleasure of seeing me apoligize. Plus, its always really awkward cos she wasnt talking to Ali and Katherine, becuase they were on my side but now shes suking up to them too. I dont know what to do. Also, ever since this i have made othetr friends, because no one likes Eleanor and they know feel that they can be frends with me.
Also, ever since this, Ali and Katherine have beem doing stuff together and not inviting me. Like they went swimming together on frday and monday, and today was a day off and they went shopping together. what shall i do. :@
Image Consious? -
I think i am becoming image consious, not in the way i look as in my hair, weight, clothes ect, but i get really embarassed. Like i dont want to do an event in sports day becuase i dont want people to laugh at me. And i hate walking in to a class room if im late because i know people are staring at me. I dont mean to be like this, and i try to tel my self to stop it but i cant. I dont know why i am like this, but i never used to be.
Weight -
I know i said i dont care about my weight, and by that i meant like i am not constantly on a diet, but are there any ways to kee[ fit and maybe loose a few pounds? Im not fat, i just i dunno, want to be fit.
Hair Styles -
I am going to get my hair cut, but am not sure how to get it? Any suggestions? I have auburn hair, quite dark. No side fringe or fringe. Side parting. No hilights or dyes. Meduim length, about my shoulders, a bit longer.
Sorry about the long email but it really helps to just get it all out. Please no nast remarks, i am only looking for advice, help, opinions. Thanks :P
Open Question: can my HYPER-thyroidism turn into HYPO-thyroidsim?
I am a 23 year old woman, and I have a history of hypEr-thyroid problems, but it has been in remission for several months and I have been feeling great. However, the last 2 months I have gained 8-10 pounds! YIKES. I am assuming it is either b/c I my metabolism has slowed to a normal speed rather than overly active and so my body is getting back to its normal cycle and I will just have to change my diet accordingly. My other theory is that I have now gone HypO-thyroid. I didn't worry about this much for the last 2 month b/c I wanted to wait it out until my doc. appointment this month and see if my body went back to normal. But now my stomach look obviously bigger and none of my clothes fit me! Then the last 3 weeks my hair seems to be falling out more than normal :(
I am going to my doc soon, but was wondering if anyone with a similar situation could give me any advice.
The only other possibility is stress....due to trying to get pregnant for 6 months and no luck :( But I don't feel overly stressed about it...really only stressed when it comes to those 5 sad days of a period.

Open Question: my diet plan; when will i stop getting hungry?
ok so nothings going to change my mind and i don't wanna be bashed on; my diet plan is to not eat for 3 weeks; Ive done it before i know its unhealthy but im doing it. My question is im only on day 1; when will i stop getting hungry?
Open Question: Is this a good diet plan?
I run 3 miles a day. Six days a week. Sunday I rest. Out of the six days, 3 of those days I also do weight training.
Breakfast is 3 egg whites on whole wheat pita with lowfat cheese (25 cal)
I do my work out after bfast.
Lunch is tuna on whole wheat bread with green veggies and fruit.
Dinner is fish or chicken or turkey with whole wheat bread and some veggies and salad and sometimes yams or something.
I drink a glass of water in between meals to wash it down and keep me full. I think the glass of water has like 3 cups or so.
I've been on this diet for a few weeks yet the scale has not moved and I'm just wondering If I'm doing everything right.
Advice and tips would be helpful thank you so much!
My body is definitely more toned but I just can't seem to lose the flab. I'm 5 ft 4 and 135 btw.
Open Question: weight loss through diet and exercise?
I am VERY overweight and want to use the most effective approach for losing weight through exercise and diet without pushing the unhealthy limit.
About 7 months ago was the last time i visited the gym and at that point i had managed to lose 28 lbs.
What im getting at is that i know i can exercise effectivly as i enjoy the challenge of weight loss whilst pointing myself in a healthier direction.
My only problem is that im always hearing different things on how to do it, and as i said i want the most effective way...ill give u a couple examples.
First off, my doctor said that i should lower my calorie intake to 1500 and exercise atleast 3-5 times a week.
Then i had the guy that was working at my gym telling me that i will have to consume whatever my my BMR works out as.
Now my BMR says i need roughly 4359 calories a day, (yes, quite alot lol)...but now how would i go about consuming all those calories and then having a deficit while burning calories at the gym.
Wouldnt that mean i'd have to kill myself at the gym? lol
Do i have to stick to all those calories or can i consume a lower amount?
At the end of the day its not a problem of not doing nothing about my weight because i am motivated to go do whatever, its just not knowing what exactly to do.
So i would be grateful if someone could basically point out what and what NOT to do and to point me in the right direction....
Sorry for the long read

Open Question: late ovulation and pregnancy?
Hi there,
I normally have a 25 days cycle however it's interchangeable depending on diet and stress, the last 3 cycles have been 22 - 25 days, normally ovulating ( at a guess) mid cycle, however, i think i ovulated late in this cycle, potentially day 18, I thought i was getting my period as i was cramping and having mood swings, however it' now day 26 and i have no feeling of period at all however i'm grumpy as a grumpy thing, and so hormonal but no period pains, which is odd for me as i did have them but after having sex with my partner they have gone.
Could it be possible that i got pregnant?
He didn't stay inside me either, however we had sex at close intervals...sorry for graphic ...
has anyone gotten pregnant on late ovulation??
or is there such a thing?
I have the most bloated tummy in the world right now.
Open Question: How do I get my grandmother to take better care of herself?
I've got to provide some background info first.
My grandmother is in her sixties and was widowed in January of 2008. For 80% of her married life, she took care of my grandfather, who was shot by a poacher when he was a game warden. So he was disabled for much of their marriage: she was the bread-winner, the care-taker, the everything. He died of colon cancer, and it was a long and painful death, let me tell you. It was the kind of dying where you hate to see them alive because the pain is just too much for anyone to bear. Of course, his passing was sad, but everyone was glad that he was no longer in pain. ESPECIALLY because he had been in pain for most of his life because of the gunshot wound, in addition to the horrible pain of spreading, incurable cancer.
Everyone was glad, except for my grandmother. She started calling his death a "tragedy" and started blaming herself for his death. No one could make her listen to reason- not hospice (who was there round-the-clock prior to his death), not her children, not her grandchildren, and definitely not her doctor.
Now, I know that everyone deals with death and with pain differently, and I know that I have never felt a loss similar to losing a spouse. But my grandmother has become a different person. Her main priority in life is putting as many pictures of her late husband in the house as she can. I mean, every surface is soon to be covered. She constantly talks about him, and if other people don't cry when she does, she is angry. She sees "signs" and messages from him everywhere, and she talks to him. She is only concerned with her dead husband, and not with her living children and grandchildren.
But all of these things is not what I'm worried about. I'm worried about her health. She contracted rheumatic fever when she was a child, which went untreated long enough to cause heart problems. And, needless to say, she didn't always take spectacular care of herself during her marriage because she was too focused on taking care of her husband. Regardless, she always kept doctors appointments and followed instructions.
Since my grandfather has died, my grandmother has completely stopped taking care of herself. She prefers weeping to sleeping. She prefers talking to dead relatives to sleeping. She prefers anything to sleeping. She also continues to drive and expresses anger when people offer to drive, even though her driving is highly erratic and unsafe. She rarely takes medicine. She doesn't report the results of her heart monitor or pacemaker. She doesn't eat or drink well (her diet is about 3 cokes a day and very little food). She refuses to rest and is always in the yard or on the lawnmower. Her heart is constantly out of rhythm and she doesn't take the medicine to help it OR call a doctor. She also refuses to get the heart surgery that is highly recommended by every doctor she's ever seen. She also lies to her doctors about her health: they think she takes every pill and monitors things carefully, and they think her heart is rarely out of rhythm.
Another problem is my grandfather's will. My grandmother and grandfather told no one about the will except the person who was left everything- their youngest son. Needless to say, that raises a lot of questions. My grandmother lies to her children and refuses to talk with all of them at once- no one gets the same story twice. This is obviously something that should be talked about, and my grandmother refuses and lies and pretends things never happened.
Basically, myself and my family are very concerned that she is going to kill herself. She's not in her right mind, and she lies to doctors so they have no clue what's really going on. And, of course, because of privacy laws and patient laws, no one can give or receive information as long as my grandmother keeps signing those forms, which she does. Even on one of her family-forced trips to the ER, my mom and her two brothers tried to talk to a nurse in the hallway about my grandmother's ACTUAL condition. The nurse held up her hand to get them to stop talking, and she said that all questions and concerns must be at the patient's request and through the patient.
Ultimately, my grandmother is stressed, she is unhealthy, she is not sleeping, she is not properly medicating, she is emotionally unstable, and she lies to doctors. She also lies to family members about her health and her behaviour, and she is entirely absorbed with my dad grandfather.
We don't know what to do. My grandmother is not herself anymore, and we'd like to see her caring about the living rather than the dead. No one can get her to see how much life SHE has, and how important and happy her life can still be.
I know this was long, but I wanted to make sure any readers really understood the situation.
Open Question: About how much weight will I lose?
I am reuniting with my husband in 6-8 weeks. I have completely changed my diet (from burgers and fries) To very healthy, (fruits, veggies, no red meat) I've only been on it for about 3 days so I have not weighed myself (I am starting at 180). i am working out in the mornings, starting off slow (walking, some jogging, pushups, situps, squats). about how much weight am I likely to lose? i have a relatively good motabolism ( I should be probably 300 by the way I was eating).
Open Question: Why do I have Inconsistent stools?
For about the past 4 weeks I have been having inconsistent stools. Some days my stools are a normal brown, other days they are runny but still brown, and on some days I have diherria, and on other days its green, I have a bowel movement about 2-3 times a day. I have never had blood or mucus in my stools either. I pretty much have different stools everyday. My diet is okay, I will admit its not the best but it is consistent, I don't really change it that much. I am a 14 year old male, and sometimes my stomach hurts and I'll feel a litttle dizzy, I don't know if that has anything to do with it. So should I be worried? What could I have? I'm kind of worried, Thanks!
PS, I have noticed that my stools become runny sometimes if I had fast food that day
Open Question: A good protein diet for me?
Ok I am 5' 8", weigh between 155 and 165. I would like to know what's the best way to manage my diet. I will work out at least 3 times a week. I wanna lose body fat; I plan on runing the days I dont hit the gym. Should I take one whey protein shake in the morning and then one in the afternoon, then one after i workout?
Thanks for any replies
Open Question: have i spoiled my diet?
im 5'5 and 162 pounds.
yesterday i had 4 apples.
today iv had 1 apple and about 3 to 4 slices of water melon.
should i not eat for the rest of the day? and just have loads of water (i always have water) or can i have another slice of water melon after i come back from the 2 hours at the gym?
thanks
oh and also i think i might go on a fast. Because im a really big Nature, animal, peace lover type of person and i try and help in any way to protect the earth (yeah, i know one person doesn't make a huge difference but at least there's a tiny difference)
- Im a vegan, because i think it's cruel to eat animals or animal produced products. But then thinking about it am also eating "plants" and in a way plants also feel. And i don't want the earth to become less greener because im eating it.
So im thinking of fasting every other week and on the week i don't fast and have a very low calorie intake.
BUT i will be having water and i don't want to waste water either!!!
what should i do?
some one help? i can't give up now!
xx
Open Question: so, do you know what to do?
Ok, Ive been having ''going'' problems. Ive taken miralax and two bisacodyol and haven't went in a week. Ive drunk plenty of water too. The laxatives make me feel like I need to go but in the end its just discomfort. As, for my diet Ive tried some bran foods and its not unordinary for me to go 3 days without using the potty. Its never been this bad and I don't know what to do. Help?
& if age has a factor I'll soon to be 15
Open Question: diarrhea since nov 2008?
i've been having diarrhea for about 7 months now. I don't know what's causing it. i've done many tests including colonoscopy, blood work, stool test, lactose test, upper GI with small bowel. But all came out to be negative. I don't know what's causing it. Neither does my dr. I have been taking imodium to help control my symptoms. But i don't know if i can take that all my life. I've tried gluten free diet but nothing. I have 3-4 bowel movements a day if i don't take imodium. and my stools are very loose. Have been really depressed lately because i've lost so much weight (10lbs). Please help me here. Open to any suggestions.
Read the questions properly....I did go to a doctor and had some tests done.
Open Question: My stomach fat wont go away!?
So I have been trying to lose this little "pouch" thing on my stomach for 3 years. I try everything within reason of dieting pills and such. I run every other day and I eat 3 meals as well as doing crunches, stretches and push up. My mom told me it was genetics but im not sure. I have abs all until where my belly button area is, it's pretty annoying that i can't seem to tone it. So could it be messed up from when I was anorexic or is it genetics? Is there something else I should be doing here? Thanks for the help.
Open Question: BEST WEIGHT LOSS TIPS! 10 POINTS BEST ANSWER!?
Hello everyone!
I am 14 yrs old. I'm 5' 3'' and weigh 113.5 lbs. I would like to get down to about 110 lbs and then maintain that weight. The problem is, I have been dieting for about two weeks and have seen no results. I drink 8 glasses of water each day, eat small portions, jog/walk 2 miles per day, and have eliminated putting salt on ANY foods. I often have a bloated feeling and have a slight pouch of a stomach that I am not happy with. Does anyone have any tips that ACTUALLY work? I am leaving for the beach next week and I want to feel like good when I go. 10 points for best answer :)
Thanks.
