Open Question: 4 days post stomach flu, still cannot eat ?
I've had what I believe to be the stomach flu 4 days ago, during the night. I woke up vomiting -I did that every hour for the entire night..- and was very nauseous. I also got some other umm bathroom troubles (no details for sensitive hearts), but just once, so I did not loose too much fluids. The day that followed, I did feel a tiny bit better, but I only ate one Soda Cracker and drank some Diet Coke and a lot of water. I got a really high fever during the afternoon, but it was gone in a few hours.
For the last 3 days, my stomach has been very sensitive, I feel nauseous every time I eat (I stuck to plain rice and water on the 2nd day, then a bit of bread and some pastas tonight, but those didn't go well). I have absolutely no apetite and I feel like I could not eat at all, although i am forcing myself to, for obvious health reasons...
Is this normal ? Tonight, my stomach is swollen and painful, I've had cramps all day (as well as period cramps, so that might not have helped) and I'm wondering if I should go see a doc or just wait for my body to get used to food slowly ?
Should I stick to the BRAT (banana, rice, applesauce, toast) diet for now, even though it's been 4 days I got sick ? Should I eat even though I really don't feel hungry AT ALL ? Won't I lack proteins ? I haven't had any meat or dairy at all, is that okay ?

I'm 19 years Old, 6 Foot 3, 15 Stone!
I know i'm not overweight however, i am stocky (beefy).. this is my natural build, i have not used weights it is just in my jeans as my father is a Big Man!
I'm Just curious to know weather burning 300 calories a day on an excersise bike in my garage will give me the cuttin edge to lose my beer belly and my chubby cheeks and chin that i have aquired through beer!
I used to be very fit, and obviously understand that getting into shape is about C.V Along with Farlet Training and situps etc!
I am just asking for peoples opinions or peoples experiances as everyone i speak to think's im being a chump and tells me to stop being such a girl!
Would really appriciate it if someone could give me a decent answer, i have stopped drinking, eating smaller meals more regualery.. nothing wrong with my diet.. Just simply wanted to know weather i am doing the right thing!

I'm a male 175 lbs, 5'8'', and I used to weigh 260 before working out. Lately I realize I've stopped losing weight and put on a few pounds, possibly from lifting weights. I lift weights 3 days a week for my uppers and run. The other 4 days I just run. Everyday though I do cardio and vary my workouts with some type of interval exercise on the treadmill or even between different machines. What can I do to start shedding some more pounds?

and i was wondering if i drank diet coke would it have the same weight loss effect?
I need to loss like 3 pounds in 3 days and I know what i am doing so don't say it's dangerous and such and i know how to get out of a fast without putting the weight back on.

Open Question: Healthy meal plan for weight loss...?
Here is a typical day of my eating. I feel it is very healthy but if you have suggestions to tweak to optimize results, it is greatly appreciated. Right of the bat I will say I believe in carbs, so low-carb diets are not for me. I am going to weight watchers and for my weight, these 31-32 points are appropriate. I will not eat less calories than this, just wondering if I should increase protein, veggies, fruits or anything.
Breakfast:
1 cup Strawberries (or other fruit)
1/2 cup plain fat free yogurt
1/2cup All Bran
2 Tbs Ground Flax
1 Tall Skinny Caramel Latte (my treat of the day =) )
Snack:
1 Fruit
High Fiber, 100 calorie Granola Bar
Lunch:
2 slices whole grain bread
3 oz lean meat
1 oz reduced fat cheese
lots of veggies
1 fruit
Snack:
2tbs hummus
carrot sticks
whole wheat pita
Dinner:
3-4 oz lean meat

Open Question: Can I lose 40-50 pounds in 6 months on this diet?
Ok so I'm going on a cross country road trip in the end of june and I want to lose 40-50 pounds that I gained from a thyroid condition that I have had for two years now.( I take meds for it and it's undercontrol now.) Anyways I wanted to know if this is an alright plan that will get me to my goal....
Breakfast : I always have a protein fruit smoothie that I make at home.( usually two or three different kinds of frozen fruit in it, whey protein powder, and skim milk.)
Lunch: A salad with chicken or turkey and fat free dressing and a piece of fruit.
Snack: low fat yogurt
Dinner: A frozen dinner with under 300 cals and less then 10 grams of fat. (please don't give me crap about the sodium, because it's ok if it's once a day. There is 500-600 mg of sodium in my dinners and you can have 2000mg's a day so I'll still be under by half .)
64 oz of water a day
Exercise: 30 mins a day on my eliptical trainer. Also I have a job where I'm constantly walking and moving. I walk around on my school campus 2 days a week. I probably only sit for about 3 hours a day when I'm awake.

I take a multivitman everyday. The meds that I take actually will help weight loss because the correct my thyroid level which helps my metabolism.

Yea, I'm 14 years old, 5'3.5, and 128 pounds with muscles and a pot belly. I read somewhere that to get rid of it I should go on a low carb diet and consume more protein. Within about the past two months, my face has been breaking out a lot. I use Proactiv 3 step system twice a day, like I have been for about a year and a half. Proactiv has always worked great... until two months ago. Now I don't know what is wrong! I'm a younger teen... Open Question: How to gain weight, about 25 pounds?

I am 5'6 and only 105 pounds. I am skinny, my torso and stomach is not that bad, six pack is there. But i have a problem with my legs and arms, my body does not seem to distribute weight to them.
I am asking if anyone here knows a proven way to gain about 25 pounds or so in 3-4 months, with workout 3 times a week or so.
What i want to know, is a day by day eating diet and which workouts to do. And yes, i know some of you are going to say "eat more", that does not help me one bit.

Open Question: I need help with weight loosing?
I need some help with weight loosing I will be really thankful to those guys who reply. First of all I will inform you about myself. I am 17 year old, male, height is 5.3, weight is 71.
At first when I decided to loose weight I joined the gym for 1 month at this time I weighted 74kilos. Since it was my first time i exercised regularly I did not loose any real weight neither did I expect to. In the gym for first 2 weeks I did random exercise working on the back, legs etc as well as running minimum 15 minutes. But for the next two weeks I stopped doing weights, because I was told not to as it could stop height. In the next two weeks I started to do 20 minutes each of treadmill, cardio and cycle. Together it was 1 hour each day. I did not take any days off in between.
Then afterwards I only did 30 minutes of running on the treadmill. Till fasting days started, (they were about 2weeks away from the date when I had completed 1month of gym), during fasting days I kept all 30 fasts I only ate once in the whole day (evening) and mostly I did 30 minutes a day on treadmill but sometimes I use to do 40-50 minutes. To be honest it was me dieting. I lost about 4 kilos by the end of fasting (now my weight was 70kilos.
About 1 week after the fasting was over I gained 2 kilos. After some research I realised it (I gained quick weight) was because of not eating enough and exercising too much. Now its nearly 3 months to that. After gaining 2kilos my weight was 72kilos.
Now from 72 kilos I went to 69 kilos because I continued treadmill for 30 minutes a day for nearly every day of the week but sometimes I could only manage it 3 times a week. My weight was stuck on 69 for nearly a month then I thought I will do more exercise then I did before, ( I planned to do 30 minutes once and then 20 minutes again, so that is twice a day). But before I could continue with that I saw my weight had increased to 70.7 then 71 kilos.
However in the last 3 weeks for about 5 times I did 40 minutes of running a day. And in the remaining days I did 20 minutes a day and missed some days out. But my problem is that my weight is again back to 70/71 kilos. It has never dropped below 69. What do people think I should do as I really want to loose weight? Now I haven’t done running from past 1 week as I have stopped believing that it will work. I only do about 90 press ups, 150crunches, and 150 sit ups no running.
In this time I did not eat any fat though I didn’t eat too much of healthy food either i.e. salad or dry fruits. I did eat it but not too much. But I didn’t eat any junk food. For example; instead of friend chicken I would eat grilled chicken. One other thing is that I use to sit a lot sometimes I sit for 3 or 4 hours in a row but now I am trying to avoid it.
I will really appreciate the replies thank you everyone for taking your time in reading this.

i know its pretty healthy but could you tell me what i need to include more of or if in need to eat less of someting. im 15 and run or use the elliptical for about and hour or more a day to stay in shape for xc and track, but then again im also sitting in a desk the rest the day.
this is what i usually eat everyday
5:30 1 1/2 cup kashi go lean cereal
10:00 fiber one granola bar
12:00 peantut butter and jelly sandwich, and fat free yogurt
3:30 (2 rye crisp crackers, and 3/4 cup of low fat cottage cheese) or (an apple with 2 rye crisp crackers)
6:30 bean burrito (280 calories) with v8 vegetable juice
Open Question: Eating 1,000-1,200 calories?
Is this still too little? I don't go below 1,000 but I usually don't go above 1,200. My BMR or whatever is 1,500 calories, so I should cut 500 to lose a pound a week right? So, is it ok that I'm not eating the full 1,200? And, I work out like 3-5 times per week too but it's really not much. On a normal day I don't burn more than 300 calories. So, what do you think? Should I add calories? If so, how can I get them in without messing up my entire diet plan?
Open Question: How can I start eating more without gaining weight?
So on saturday i woke up and looked in the mirror - then decided to go on a crazy diet which i have stuck to.
no more than 400 calories a day . id like to bring that up to 700 because i am going to get more active soon. The diets gone well though - i feel stuffed on a glass of water and 2 breadsticks :D .
I thought maybe if i stick to the 400 calories or another 3 days - so that i have done it for a whole week , then allow myself 450 the next week, then 500 the next week ,then 550, then 600 etc .. As long as it is wholesome food that i have cooked myself then I wont gain weight right?
I dont feel like im starving and im not going to die thankyou very much :(
I never eat up to 1000 normally so I'd definately put on weight doing that :( and my mum said it was ok ...
Open Question: Does your body still rebuild and repair your muscles from a heavy weight workout when your cutting fat?
specifically I'm not an extreme diet i eat 4 to 5 small healthy meals a day along with about 120g of whey protien supplement and I run 2 to 3 miles 3 or 4 times a week. I also do heavy weight training 4 times a week for about an hour. So will my body repair my muscles from that heavy weight even though i'm losing fat?
Open Question: HELP with my beagle puppy! Is it food allergy?
I have a 3 month old puppy that i bought from a pet store (yes, i know BAD idea!) He is a great puppy, but he has been a lil sick since i got him. I got him to the vet 3 days after bringing him home. He got a fecal exam which revealed he had giardia, and cocchidia. He has been treated for both, for the past two weeks. The vet also gave us a supplement from Purina, to help his digestive system (30 day supply). At first we wouldn't eat (he was eating Eukanuba), so i gradually changed his food to Taste of the Wild- which he seems to love. He then started having diarrhea- which i assumed were symptoms of the parasites, so i had him for a week on the blend diet (rice and chicken), which he loved. Soon after his first medication was over, things started looking better... he would go to the bathroom right after eating, before it would take him hours to go, and his stools were log-like solid with no odor. I was very happy until this Saturday night/Sunday morning... when he started having runny stools again, i thought may be the food since he got used to the rice+chicken. This morning he threw up, and had a soft mud-like stool.
He is generally active, but last night he slept since 6 pm... and this morning did not want to play either.
Another note, is that he is constantly scratching and sneezing... he doesn't have fleas or anything. I also took for grooming, and he came back with red bumps.. i assume whatever they used was harsh on him.
Could all his symptoms be associated with maybe food allergies? what other brands are good for puppies with allergies?
We will be going to the vet again this afternoon, but i am hoping for some advice as this is my first dog.

ok my last period was november 16, 2008.
my expected period was december 14, 2008.... its now january 6 and im now 3 weeks late.
i usually get it every 30 days give or take 2 days late or early.

i took a few hpts and they were negative, i took one at a week and 4 days late and the other and a doctors urine test at 2 weeks late.
the doctor told me to go back when my next period was sopposed to come (2 weeks after i saw her) if i still didnt have a period.

the other day my mom brought a box of 20 double chocolate chip cookies, they were really big and thick. I had one and the next day they were gone. I was furious... I blamed my dad and he said he was at work all night, he didn't even have one.. my sister is on a diet and my mom doesn't eat junk food. so I went into my brothers room and I saw the packet on the floor, he said he had ate them all. THAT WAS A LOT OF COOKIES!!! after two I feel like puking. then my mom brought in a supersize bag of cheese doritos, and he ate them ALL whilst watching wresting, I usually only have 1 handfull. and for dinner he has 4 slices of bread with butter, 3 pieces of bacon, 2 eggs, a tin of beans. thats way too much for a 10 year old. and whenever my mom buys a box of cocoa puffs he actually FINISHES THE WHOLE BOX BUY HIS SELF in 2 days.
my mom said its because his a boy? what a stupid excuse... WOW i'm 17 and he eats 10 times the amount as me and my 16 year old sister.
she won't stop him from eating AND HE HAS NO FOOD LIMITS WHAT SO EVER. i'm not even going over the top!!!
Open Question: Is my gym workout doing me any good? if not then what do i do different?
I am a 23 year old female, 5' 7" and weigh 143 pounds. I want to lose 10-15 pounds and tone up my stomach, legs and loose the "love handles" I realize this is not going to happen overnight or anything but I just got a membership to a small womens gym and have been for 3 days so far, an hour each day. I have been going by the same plan everytime and Im not feeling sore at all, so Im wondering if the workout Im doing is doing me any good....? Or what do I need to do diffrently?
Here is my workout.....
Warm up for 10 minutes on the tredmill (every 2 minutes I increase the incline and the speed)
Do 25 reps on all the diffrent weight machines (alternating daily between upper and lower body machines)
Do 50 reps or more on the 2 weight machines for abs. (1machine is where these pads meet at your shoulders and you push it forward, like doing a sit up. The other one is kinda the same but you push the weight back instead. I was told to do half of my body weight on these, so I have been setting them both at 70 pounds)
Then I end with 10 minutes on the eliptical.
Overall this workout takes about 45 minutes to an hour. At the time when Im doing it I can feel it in my muscles but then as soon as Im done I dont feel a thing after that! Is this a good or bad thing? I just dont feel like Im doing myself any good and Im not just working out for the fun of it!! So if anyone has any tips or advice that would be great! Im also really trying to limit my portions when I eat and not eat alot of junk food. im no good at diets, but at the same time I really really wanna acheive my goal!!! I dont drink alot of soda and Im trying to make myself drink more water, although I hate water any time other than when Im working out, but Im trying to force it down!!! lol

Open Question: Proper diet for a 6 week kitten?
Hi :)
I just rescued a 6 week old kitten. Since he was in bad condition when i got him (worms, fleas and a little cold) and since he was in a new environment and might have been stressed I kept him on Purina Kitten Chow, the hard food for now so the worms can pass and so he can adjust to his new environment.
I also give him a little treat when I leave for work, I give him one of the Whisker Lickens - Tender Moments which are moist treats for the little guy. I do not feed him more than 3 in a day.
Anyways would anyone give me any advice on proper nutrition or point me to some websites for a kitten's diet? He loves the hard food and pretty much eats it all. Has a healthy appetite. I give him a handful in the morning and handful at night but I leave it out all night.
Also is it ok if I leave dry food out always for him ? I read somewhere to leave dry food for him to "freely roam" on it when he wants. Is that ok?

I found my daughters reason for Colic that my Dr insisted was something she just had to outgrow - it turned out to be dairy in my diet (breastfeeding) and in formula. How about you? (it was all day colic for 6 weeks until I found out what was wrong - not the couple of hours of screaming 3 times a week)

Hi my name is Caitlin and I am 15 years old. I go back to school in about 3 weeks and before then I would like to reduce the appearance of cellulite I have on my upper thighs. I would also like to flatten my stomach a little, but my thighs are my ultimate goal. I am about 5'4 foot tall and weight about 127 pounds in the US Standard, in the metric system I weigh about 58 kilograms and I stand at about 162 cm tall. I started my cellulite reduction resloution today and need some advice. Here is what I did:
Breakfast - 1 piece of toast with light peanut butter
Lunch - Tuna and salad sanwich and a piece of watermellon
Snack - piece of watermellon and a peach
Dinner - a large seving of veggie stir fry
Dessert - weight watchers chocolate pudding , i think is what it was called
with regard to exercise i walked my dog for about 40 minutes, it was fast paced walking, and did severeal push ups, sit ups and squats throughout the day.

Can I sustain myself on drinking protein shakes and glutamine alone with no consumption of food?
I am a 29 year old female who in the past 5 years had three kids and gained an incredible amount of weight. Since my life is based on constantly feeding my hungry kids....keeping a diet is almost impossble. Yet I loose weight really fast, but gain it even faster. When I get tired of eating and seeing myself at the mirror I usually resort to fasting. I cannot explain how amaizing I feel when I fast. Believe it or not I feel much more energized and my digestive system feels clean. And it is amazing how fast I loose weight but after 7 days I start to slowly eat and in less than two weeks Im back to where I started. So I have just come up with a solution to my predicament and that is to stop eating for a while and I would like to know if I can sustain myself and keep healthy while just using protein meal replacement shakes and glutamine? and of course use it in conjunsion with some light exercise. Since I am not totally lazy. I keep very active..I run all day behing 3 toddlers...I still dont understand how it is that I am so fat! please help any advice is highly appreciated!
Open Question: I'm a 5'10 188lb guy trying to get a 6 pack...am I going about it correctly?
I work out 6 days a week at the gym, do 3 miles on the treadmill at my house, do perfect push ups everyday, and have been eating very healthy for a week now. I usually have a dinner that's around 400 calories. Am I going about this the right way? The top of my abs are slightly visible, but down lower, I have a little pouch hiding the rest of it. If I keep up my diet and exercise, how long do you think it will take me to lose the pouch and have my 6 pack easily visible?
Open Question: What is so wrong to try to lose weight by simply hardly eating?
I know that must sound like a silly question but fact is thats the only way I seem to be able to get anywhere.
As if taking one bite of anything deems me a failure and causes me to binge. So eating nothing causes me to have more willpower and I can usually stick to my diet easier.
I know that this behavior cant last forever but first time I lost weight I was 180 I ate nothing but veggie shakes, one a day, and one can of ensure, on different occasions I'd have a plain baked potatoe to fill my tummy to make it feel full, and this is it.
I got down to 130 and held it there for 3 years.
Since then I went on birth control when I got married put on 40 pounds in 6 months (had a bad reaction to it) went off cause I was wigging out! a few months later got pregnant....have had two babies and now I'm 205.....so??????

I have gained some weight because of drinking sodas, and not exercising enough so i decided to go on a diet, i have been doing this for 2 weeks and have already lost some weight but does it sound like an ok idea?
Breakfast----I either alternate between a serving of cerial, or french toast sticks
Lunch----I either alternate between a lean cuisine meal, a lunchable (minus the candy) or a bowl of ramon noodles
Dinner---- I either have a serving of fruit cocktail (the sugar free one) jello, or apple sauce
For snacks, i try to either eat some sort of fruit, or like 3 grahm crakers, or ritz crackers
all day i drink either koolaide (the ones in the blue bottles) but i limit 2 a day, then after that, i just dink water (i drink a lot)
i exercise everyday on my treadmill, eliptical, and strengh train using dumbells, and i take my dog for walks, and walk home from school (which is a mile)
does this sound ok?
oh and all of which i eat in moderation, and follow the correct serving sizes

Meal 3 of the Special K diet says "Your Choice". Does that mean my choice of any food, or my choice of any Special K food that's on my plan?
Open Question: My hamster is going to die! ?
I discovered that my hamster as wet tail. We are treating it and everything but I have pretty much lost hope at this point. She has had it for 3 days. 2 of those days I didn't treat it though (I didn't think it was wet tail). We changed her diet and are giving her vitimins that can help cure her through her water. I'm not sure how old she is. When I got her she was in the back becuase she was to old to be on display. Any other things you think we can do to help her stay alive?

So this is what my eating habits have become while trying to lose weight:
(When I say waters I mean a 591ml bottle.)
Morning:
Bagel and Drink (Usually Apple Juice or Water.)
Lunch Time:
Bagel and Two Drinks: (Two Waters)
Supper:
Whatever is made. Usually Meat or Chicken in a small portion, and a baked potato.
After Supper:
I don't eat anything after supper except fruits, vegetables, and fiber bars.
(Today I had around 3 apples, a banana, and a fiber bar.)
I try to exercise too: Running for an hour or so. Or walking for two hours or so a day, varying it up.
I lost 40 pounds last year while not being on a strict diet, so I'm trying to get a new steady eating plan on to lose some more weight. I'm thinking at least 20+
Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have a wedding planned for June and I have my beautiful wedding gown but since I have been out of work; I have been putting on more weight. I am 5'4 and weight 223, I know I am a lot over weight, I don't eat a whole lot of junk food, eat 3 meals a day with one light snack between breakfast and lunch and lunch to dinner. Does any one have any suggestions, I have been using my ab lounge and the Zyatrim diet pills but I a worried that I won't lose enough in time, Planning a wedding is stressful enough so if you have any suggestions for me thank you but leave the cruel comments out thanks.

I run 8 miles at faster than 7mph+ four days a week and have ballet class 3 days a week days i dont run. I also stregth train. If i eat 1,700 calories a day will i loose or is that too much?
Like today
I ate a bow of oatmeal with Strawberry fields cereal on top
Then at 3:00 i had a 24oz smoothie (soymilk, frozen berries, protein boost, and water blended with Ice)
I ran 8 miles on the treadmill at 7mph+
and then for dinner i had a turkey cranberry wrap with a small salad no dressing
Then I had a few scoops of fat free frozen yogurt with frozen berries on top
I think this is 1,700 calories, but i could be wrong will I loose with this? and was this 1,700? or should i lower my calorie intake

It is all too obvious that doctors would suggest moderate exercise for at least 1 hour a day, in conjunction with healthy eating habits. In terms of losing weight, doctors say losing no more than 3 pounds per week is significant and safe and one should not lose anymore than that. I know there are diet pills on the market that claim that you can lose weight. For example, some diet pills claim to make you lose up to 10 pounds in just one week. I heard so many times that diet pills are for sickos. I spoke to my doctor and he told me that it is not okay to lose more than 3 lbs per week. I then spoke to another doctor who is also an exercise expert. He said that it is OKAY, it is SAFE and it is also POSSIBLE to lose even 20 pounds in just one week, if you do over 10 hours of exercise per week, while eating plenty of vegetables. He also said that losing weight very fast is bad, but it is not so bad if you lose excess weight through PURE exercise and healthy eating habits., such as veggies. I am looking for opinions about what my doctor told me, also in losing weight very very Fast, through exercise(mainly jogging and running) and healthy eating habits. In the field of exercise, is it an allowable sin to lose weight fast and is it safe, considering the fact that you are not taking diet pills?(which are bad)

My friend and I have been working out for about 3 months now about 4 days a week. We have not been using protein shakes or bars and we just been eating a good diet. We have gained muscle but not as much as we have hoped for. Should we begin taking protein shakes or protein bars, because we have received mix opinions about both.

Open Question: I think I have a eating disorde, but I don't know and if I do, I'm too shy to ask for help?
So for about two years on and off, I've had problems with eating. At first I was anorexic for about 6 months and I lost about 20 pounds.And then I started binging. I think I might have a eating disorder but I don't know for sure and I'm too shy to ask, can you guys comment?If there's any health Professional on here I would also appreciate it.
Some of my "symptoms" include:
Not eating all day to try and punish or force myself
Not being able to get threw ANY of my classes without saying I have to go to the bathroom and then I run up stairs and eat something, even if I am stuffed or not hungry
I constantly think about food, during class, lunch time, break, ALL the time
I'm always thinking where I'm going to get my next fix (food)
Even if I pack a lunch, if I have money, I will go and binge on McDonald's, Subway or other food
I binge about 6-7 times a week, with the binging lasting 2 hrs to all day
When I eat my lunch at school, I sit in a stairwell that NO ONE walks up- it's hidden from everyone else
I try to keep a stash of non perishable food in my locker, in case I can't find anything to eat in a attack
I've tried diet pills, but they kept me up all night and they kept me sweating
I will DO ANYTHING to get my next fix even walking to McDonald's in -45C wind
They most often occur in the morning, late afternoon and into the evening
I overeat my daily calories almost everyday
I am 5'3 15 years old and 210 lbs
Are these characteristics?

hi everyone im 16 and weight 10'3 and im 5'5 i have set myself a 3 month diet which consists of
breakfast- black coffee and 1 sweetener
lunch-a vitamin tablet
dinner- 250 ml glass of diet coke and 1/4 of a piece of chewing gum
i go gym 3 times a week and tennis on sundays
on saturdays i have theatre school and do alot of dancing
in 3 months i should loose 3 stone
people are saying that im going to die but i have done so much research and u only die if you keep it going for ages.
im kinda scared because i know i have to do this and if i dont i know i will feel awful

Open Question: 6 weeks since period, just got light pink/brown spotting.?
It's been over 6 weeks since my last normal period and 3 days ago I started lightly spotting. At first, the color was a very light watery pink and I only saw it WHEN I WIPEd. The second day it turned more tan in color and the texture was a bit thicker. Keep in mind, it was NOT ANY heavier. The third day, it was as light, tan, gooey more elastic. By ends day, it completely stopped. Now its back to normal discharge. So three days total.
Today is January 4th 2009, my last period was November 22nd. I had unprotected sex Dec 3rd. He did not ejaculate inside of me. I have been off birthcontrol for 10 months now.
Last note I will say, I went to see a gynecologist over a week ago,(AROUND 1 week late for my period) and was examined and there were no abnormalities such as cysts or anything. I never took a pregnancy test because during the exam, the doctor told me, i physically, didn't look pregnant at the time. And was told, I would get my period within the week. Instead i got VERRRy light spotting.
I have never spotted in my life, i am 27 years old. This is why it worries me. I have no other symptoms of pregnancy other than sensitive and slightly sore nipples, which is a bit unusual. No stress, no diet change, nothing new.
What do you guys think? I couldnt find much online about 6 weeks without period and light brown/pink spotting.
Implantation bleeding normally takes place between the 2nd and 4th week after conception?... So it be too late for this spotting to be that right???
Open Question: Advice on diet/exercise plan ?
(I apologize for the length of this question, I didn't realize how I prattled on about this whole thing until I saw the preview.)
I won't go into too great of detail as to my current situation, but I will say that I am very overweight, and I have been for most of my life. I'm sick of it and I'm going to be losing weight soon. My best friend was pretty much identical to me in our weight/shape/lifestyle and then he went and joined the military. Before he even went to basic training he shed over 100lbs in 2 months, in a sort of "pre-training" he put himself through to be able to handle Basic Training.
I'm going to use his exact same method. He used l-carnatine (forgot what for) and Creatine, along with a protein drink he mixed up all at the beginning of the day. He told me the basics of how to take these supplements and I plan to do just as he did, and try to eat the same as he did. I've already started the plan, I've been walking 3-4 miles each day for the past month, and I can definitely tell that it's boosted my endurance tremendously.
My question to you, Y!A, is do you have any advice to give me as I start this rigorous journey? Anything you'd like to share or add? Perhaps you know of an excellent diet plan that I can use? Or other supplements that can speed along this process?

Everyday, I will eat:
Oatmeal (made with water, not milk) -160 calories
1/2 a bagel w/ cream cheese -about 200 calories
apple -about 75 calories
20 almonds -140 calories
a big salad -about 250 calories
1 cup frozen yogurt with berries/banana/any fruit -about 250 calories
Exercise:
-run 1-3 miles everyday
-do some ab stuff some days
Will this help me lose weight? How long do you think it will take for me to get down to 120?
